The proposed building will, Insha Allah, have four
(4) stories, accommodate up to 1,000 students in grades Pre-K thru 12th,
and have adequate facilities for community gatherings including meal
preparations for up to 1,500 men, women, and children. Each floor will
have a usable area of 28,800 sq.ft. (120 ft x 240 ft.). Key features
of this building are:
FIRST (GROUND) FLOOR:
South Wing – Activities Center: (Open
All Day, 7-Days a Week Till 9:00 PM)
Men’s Gym. Women’s Gym., Game Room for
Boys, Game Room for Girls, Rest Rooms, Main Library. (This library will
have the largest collection of Islamic literature in Northeast Florida,
and will be open to public.)
North Wing - Lower School for Grades Pre-K
thru 5:
Fourteen Classrooms (Two for each of the seven Grades)
including nine with attached Rest Rooms, Computer/Media Lab., Lower
School Library, Pantry, Kitchen, Lunch Room, Teachers Lounge, Bookstore
for Lower School, Offices, Storage, and Rest Rooms.
SECOND FLOOR – Auditorium, Labs., and
Offices:
Computer Media Lab., Language Lab., Physics Lab., Chemistry
Lab., Biology Lab., Bookstore for Upper School, Prayer Room, Auditorium
(with Seating Capacity for 800), Refreshments Area, Offices, Storage,
and Rest Rooms.
THIRD FLOOR – Upper School For Girls:
Nineteen-Class Rooms, Pantry, Kitchen, Lunch Room (for
150), Teachers Lounge, Student Assembly/ Community Gathering Area for
